This morning was taken up with doing the jigsaw, which is now finished!
It was damp this morning but it was dry this afternoon so I did go for a walk. I walked along the river path as far as the underpass at the A9. Lots of photos but I will only comment on a couple. Much greener since the last time I walked ll the way along. Instead of taking a picture of the burn from the bridge today I took the bridge itself!Going under the bridge this time.
The ferns are everywhere now, along with the weeds! This is a small bridge over a burn, but the view on the way back is better.
We have watched some tennis, getting clued up for Wimbledon!
I did a sketch using one of the photos as inspiration!
Feeling very tired this evening but I have done my exercises. Was given them a couple of months ago but didn’t stick with them. So on day three nd I am going to try and do them regularly to see if they make any difference to the hip. Can’t go back complaining about it if I haven’t taken the advice!

At last the small hard jigsaw is finished. It’s a nice picture but a bugger to do 😊
ReplyDeleteEverything does look so much greener now. It does make for some really nice pics. The little bridge doesn’t show at all in the first pic of it. If you didn’t know it was there you’d easily miss it. Or fall off the edge! It’s a very unusual little bridge. It was definitely a nice afternoon for taking lots of pics.
I like the sketch and it’s got one bit of colour in it 😊 I think it looks good like that.
I suppose you really have to make the effort and try the exercises regularly. It may well be the the answer to it all……then again. But at least you can honestly say you tried. Are they getting easier after three days?
Yes, what with the subject matter and the weird shapes the jigsaw was a real challenge.
ReplyDeleteThe walk was nice, we are due rain tomorrow so glad I made the effort.
The hip wasn’t quite as painful today but that is probably a coincidence as I doubt the exercises would make much difference after two lots. Think it is an early night on the cards tonight and hopefully a cat that decides to sleep on her own bed!
