Heading home

Had a restful morning once I was packed and had the last cuddles with Aurora. Anya took one of us together yesterday evening.

Anya drove me to the station and saw me onto the train at 12.52 pm I had a good seat and there was room for my case on the rack so all was well. Anya took a couple of pics of a Pullman train on one of the other platforms and sent them to me.
I arrived at Edinburgh about 3.40 pm but had plenty of time to go to the loo and get a snack. Great bike storage on the second train.
Arrived at home at 19.38 pm, we had called in the shop on the way back to the station, Tina met me and pulled the case back which was nice. Have had my feet up and watched Katie Boulter get into the semi final at Queens. Won’t be late to bed!

  1. Aurora is such a cute dog. Very well behaved too. So much softer than cats 😊
It sounds like your journey wasn’t too bad at all. It’s nice that you were dropped off here and then met the other end. It’s still a tiring journey even though you’re just sitting for several hours. I’m sure you were pleased to be finally home though.
Back to normality tomorrow then. I’m guessing you’ll probably be attacking weeds at some point tomorrow 😊
A good nights sleep and you’ll be raring to go!

  2. The weeds aren’t as bad as I expected, but will probably do some hoeing. Three of the sticks have leaves now!
The journey went well but it is very tiring and sitting for so long in one position has made me bit achy.

  3. You've done well with the sticks. How's the oak faring?
