I did get stuck into household chores and with the help of pills thought things were on the up. Then I walked round to the local shop and the knee and hip were really painful. I was going to phone the surgery then realised that my phone is playing up and calls are not going through and when they do I cannot hear the person at the other end! I went to use the office phone but that isn’t connected at the moment.
I bought some bananas and peaches at the shop and used some out milk to make a smoothie which was lovely. I have had some sitting, one with the cat and have worked on the jigsaw today. Another one that is quite challenging. I have done a bit more now, but it is slow progress.
When Tina got home she gave me her mobile to phone the surgery. I was on hold for about forty five minutes and every ten minutes it beeped three times! I was about to give up when it was answered. The receptionist tried to get me to see the physio but I said I want to see a doctor. I have an appointment on Monday morning, I will continue with the pain diary.I scratched inside my er this morning and there was a bit of blood. Thought nothing more of it until I realised this evening I had dried blood down my face from the ear. Tina has tried to stop the bleeding by using some pressure. I will leave the hearing aids out for now.
We had a thunder storm this afternoon, quite close at one point.
Hank it will be another easy going day tomorrow, got to try and be a bit fitter for the Wimbledon adventure!

Pills do help a bit but if it’s that bad then nothing helps. I do hope the visit to the doc is fruitful on Monday. That’s a very long wait you had to get through to the surgery. I don’t think I’ve ever waited that long to get through to my surgery. The receptionists are paid to fob you off to anyone but the doctor these days, so well done for sticking to your guns and getting what you want 😊
ReplyDeleteThat phone is a real pain at times. Assuming it is the phone that’s causing the problem. It’s strange that it does it half way through a conversation at times too. Unless it is something to do with the Bluetooth link to the hearing aids. Technology is great…….when it works 😊
The jigsaw does look a bit hard. Now you’re onto the part with the board it’ll probably be even harder as all the squares look very similar. Keeps you out of mischief though.
I hope the ear has stopped bleeding now. You don’t want it all over your pillowcase 🙂
I know you’re not really keen on having easy days, but with the weather as it is it’s probably not a bad idea. When is it you’re off to Wimbledon?
We are going on the sleeper to London on Wednesday night and back on the night train on Thursday night. We had seats on Court One so will get to see tennis whatever the weather.
ReplyDeleteThe bleeding hasn’t stopped but doesn’t seem to be as heavy, Tina has just checked it again,
No real aches or pains while I am sitting and at the moment Pandora is sleeping in her basket,
