Pain, pain go away!

I went to post a couple of letters yesterday evening and took a photo of the Methodist church as I passed.

The Christmas windows, although on the early side, were great in the new mobility shop window.
Especially this second one.

Today I have been quite productive, but have also been in considerable pain with the legs. I phoned the surgery to ask if the medication I have could be increased. Meanwhile I took some painkillers this afternoon, which have settled it down. I have had a message from the surgery to say a new prescription has been written for me, I will collect it tomorrow, so fingers crossed.
Tina sent me this picture this morning, looks like a piece of artwork.
I have got bags and boxes ready to go to the charity shop. Scanned a few dvds and have a package ready to send off, and have got my case almost packed, so getting there.
Going into Beverley tomorrow to get my travel money.

  1. I do like stained glass windows. They look great during the day from the inside, and I think even better in the evening from the outside when illuminated.
I also like the Santa on a mobility scooter! He must be getting on a bit now, so he’s probably due one 😊
It’s typical that the body decides to play up at the times you could well do without it! It knows you’ve got so much to do and it’s trying to slow you down. With any luck the new pills will set you back on the right track.
When I first glanced at that photo I thought it was an artwork with clingfilm over it. Couldn’t really make out why. Just goes to show that I should read before looking at the pics 😂
Sounds like you’ve done a fair bit today, all things considered. Once you get the bit between your teeth there’s no stopping you!
Try to relax for the rest of the evening.

  2. I like the stained glass windows too, traditional ones and the more modern ones.
The discomfort today did hamper me a bit, but I want to get as much done as possible before going away. I really hope the tablets help to control the pain otherwise it could be a miserable journey.
The last pic is the plant pot tray that now has not pot as it is the one that got smashed, we had a front this morning and as that had a small amount of water it froze!
