Quick trip to Beverley

I went out early to get the rolls for lunch and then I got ready to catch the bus to Beverley. I wanted to go to the travel agent to confirm my trip details and while I was in town got a new battery in my non smart watch, and also some bits for the cake decorating. It was busy in Beverley as it is market day.

Took this photo as I was walking back to the bus station.

After lunch I walked up to Tesco and managed to get the packet sent this time. On the way back I called in at the second day of the craft event and bought a novel propagation stand. I have put the last cutting I got in it.

A bit later Sher messaged to say I had won a prize in the charity raffle so I went and collected it. The prizes were mostly donated by artists that display in the shop, I had donated my koi carp as a prize. I got a nice candle holder and a little shell made by one of the local potters.
I have watched Strictly on the iPad tonight as the tv connection is playing up. Darren has been trying to sort it for a while now and I have lost count how many times he has gone downstairs to re boot the router!l I am encouraging him to give up for now.

  1. Nice little trip out starts the weekend off nicely. So have you just mislaid your smart watch or actually lost it somewhere? Cake decorating bits mean Christmas is getting closer still 🎄😊
They do like their bikes up there. They do make nice displays though. Especially pink ones 😊
I quite like your new propagation stand. It’s quite a good thing to do as a hobby as it doesn’t take up too much space.
You are so jammy with raffles 😊I’m surprised you’ve not won the lottery jackpot before now!
So it’s not just your tv that’s playing up then? When I started to read that paragraph I wondered why you hadn’t gone downstairs to watch Strictly. I hope he gets it sorted soon. Good job he goes to the gym and is fit 😊

  2. The bit that holds the strap down on the smart watch broke months ago and the strap isn’t detachable so I couldn’t put some sort of replacement on. It had fallen off my wrist several times when I caught it awkwardly but the last time I realised I wasn’t wearing anymore when I got home! So lost, not mislaid.
The trip was okay and the weather had improved before I came home.
I have enjoyed the propagating and only had one cutting that didn’t survive. Sher’s mum made the new propagation stand.
Ai don’t do the lottery now, but maybe the premium bonds will come up one of these days!
