I went and did the normal shop first thing and then helped Darren get the shopping delivery sorted.
I made up a packing box and filled it with books before Darren took me up to Freeport. We had a snack in the potteries and a chat with Rob. He gave us some boxes nd Sid he will keep more for us. We shopped in Pound Stretcher before we came home. I had messaged Caroline before we left home to offer her some of the pottery I have painted previously but she didn’t reply until we got home. Her message sid she was at a different part of Freeport as a makers market and would love to see me. So after lunch I caught the bus up to Freeport, had a chat with her and a drink at the potteries before I walked home.
Not many units open yet but there were new children’s rides to get parents spending their money.
A wintery sky when I approached Polly’s Path.A very unusual tree along Polly’s Path.

Definitely a day for visiting Freeport then. So many places you’ll miss when you move. But I’m sure they’ll be replaced with new and interesting places in Scotland. Is Caroline going to use your pottery pieces as display models? It will be nice to know they’ll still be in use and seen by others in the years to come. I like the children’s rides 😊
ReplyDeleteI like the dark sky and silhouette on Polly’s Path. The tree is really weird. I spent a long time looking at it before I read the comment. At one point I thought it was a dead animal 😳
Really nice sky on the way back too.
Blimey. I didn’t think you’d get that cake box back before you went away 😊
Enjoy some time with Darren. Booting tomorrow is it?
Yes a Freeport fest today.
ReplyDeleteWe will decide on booting when we have checked the weather in the morning. The snow has pretty much disappeared now.
Caroline wants them to remind her of me so I think it may be some on display in the shop and a couple might find the way to her home!
It was nice to have Darren join me for a while, it was a fun show as always.
