I caught the bus into Hull at 9.45am. It takes over an hour but we drive down Dancing Lane which always makes me smile. We stopped by a building site, men at work and all that.
New displays at the bus station, always interesting.
Passed this shop in town, not open for business yet.
I had a drink in Waterstones the bought some bits in Lush. In Princes Quay I got a new pair of Slip ins, was so pleased they now make them in a single colour.
I walked over the lovely door bridge and to Humber Street. Haven’t been there for a while.I took another photo in town, and a different one at the station.
I got home by 3.30pm and had a sit down with a drink before getting dinner. Now sitting with the cat and endeavouring not to get bitten!

A nice few hours out and about. Always good. I know you really like Hull anyway so it’s always a pleasure to go there. I don’t suppose an hour on the bus is bad really, plus lots of thing to look at on the way. Seems the men at work caught your eye 😊
ReplyDeleteThe bus station always looks light, bright and colourful. They do like their murals and displays all over Hull. We could do with a bit of the same down here.
I did once consider buying a pair of those slip ins myself at one point. I may have to have another look at them. Certainly easier on the back than bending down 🙂
Lots of different things to photograph in Hull. Different areas and different types of subject. You could imagine them being take from visits to various places rather than all in one city.
You’re more trusting of the cat than I would be after it sunk its teeth into you. I think I’d make it sit on its own 😊
It was a nice day, as you say, I think Hull is a fabulous city.
ReplyDeleteShopping done and then a wander round, managed the steps again was a bonus.
I like the slip ins I have but wanted a new pair for my trip.
The station always looks good, a great way to welcome visitors.
The cat is sleeping peacefully at the moment.
