I didn’t see Bel last week as she wasn’t feeling up to it. I told her I will be moving away in February but I will keep in contact. She has good neighbours but no other visitors, not that she is too unhappy about that, she still knits, does crosswords and jigsaws as well as enjoying some tv, so she keeps occupied. When Igot home we loaded up the car with my mountain of stuff for the charity shop, delivered that and then she took me to Tesco so that I could send my books off. We went and did an errand for Tina and then we had lunch at the parish hall cafe.
Jean came round to visit me for a change this week, they are hoping that there house sale goes through as they have found a bungalow they want. She has some health issues but was I quite good spirits today. I did take some bits to Sher and didn’t collect the cake box again!
The snow hasn’t gone away completely, and there are still some icy patches so a need to be careful.
That was my only photo outside so though I would add one of Darren’s Venus fly traps, he has tried many times to grow them from seed and has nursed these two along patiently

You’ll miss your visits to various people when you move to Scotland. But I’m sure you’ll soon get to know other people once you settle in. Plus I know you like writing letters, so you can keep in touch with people that way too. Assuming you have the time between haggis and kilt making classes 😂
ReplyDeleteSo much easier for Tina to drop the charity shop stuff off for instead of dragging stuff about on a trolley! I wonder if there’s a local charity shop there, or are you going to be good and stay decluttered from now on?
I thought Jean had sold her house and it had all gone through. I hope it doesn’t fall through again ☹️
It was a good frost here this morning, but still no snow. When it does arrive I’ll do nothing but moan because I can’t get out 😊
I remember Darren trying to grow the fly traps before. Those look as though they’re coming on well. Have they caught any flies yet though?
Good luck getting Shers cake case 😂
Enjoy your evening.
I like writing letters but I am not sure Bel or Jean have that inclination. Maybe it will be Face time from now on!
ReplyDeleteThe fly traps have caught the little fruit flies I think, maybe the bigger one has had a full size fly, I will check!
It will be nice if I find classes to do once we are very north!
It was quite a large amount to take to the charity shop so I was grateful for the lift.
