The weather was really miserable, wet and grey, for most of the day, it cleared up about 4.30 pm and is looking quite lovely out there now, Tina dropped me off near town as I had a few bit and pieces I needed, including collecting tickets from the station as I am spending a couple of days with Brian and Hazel next week in Driffield. I also wanted to get more wool. I went to the Crochet and Cake afternoon at Sandra's shop last Thursday, haven't crocheted for a while now but started a square which may end up being a lap quilt. It isn't a class, just a chance for people to get together to crochet, chat and help each other out.
Yesterday at the boot sale we didn't buy much, as that was a bit against the general idea, but Darren mentioned some Tetley teapots on one of the stalls and he thought Tina would like them. I like them too! the larger one and a couple of Tetley coasters are still with Tina, but the small, rather silly but fun teapot has come to live with me! I even used it last night.
I have been watching the first series of New Tricks andI am really enjoying them. But tonight I may listen to some music instead and sort through the photos to put in with letters. I had some printed to send to people who keep in touch but I don't see often now.
