This morning I walked up to the swimming pool but had misread the timetable and couldn't get in! Ah well, a walk at least! I put the first coat of paint on a canvas and then had a cup of tea and a chat with Tina when she got home from her trip down south. She dropped me off at the ceramic studio, as I had the new pieces to take and also some material to drop off at the community centre. Had a chat with Sandy and ended up painting the little pig money box, decided to not dress it up but just as a plain little pig.
Today was obviously destined to be piggy day as Tina brought me a cute little wooden one.
I dropped off the material and said hi to the ladies in the sewing class then went and got a few bits in town. Collected a package for Darren on my way home. This afternoon Britannia, the latest and largest P & O cruise ship was due to pass Scarborough on it's maiden voyage. It was early, but I did get there in time to see it. Took this from the cliff top.
I zoomed in for a bit more detail.
Then I raced down the cliff (well, my version of racing) and took a couple of pictures from the beach.
Then the last one as it approached the cliff and went on it's way to Whitby.
You did well to get the photo, the pig is lovely looks natural.
ReplyDeleteYes, decided to do that one just like a pig rather than fancy decoration. x
