I tidied up the front garden yesterday evening and watered both gardens. The sea holly which I planted as a very small plant is now looking great. I love sea holly!
Today we all set off to be at the church for 9.30 am to help set up the summer fete/fun day. Tina and I were set up at the end of Gails stall so that we could help her out as she had a great deal of jewellery to sell.
Gail had fetched a very silly pink wig along, and the only one silly enough to actually wear it was me!
We sold a few of the ceramic decorations but not the storage bags. Gail did pretty well with her 'bling'. I did a quick sketch, just a suggestion of the day really.
It remained fine, but was quite windy and we were in the shade so I actually put my cardigan on! Quite a few people came along and it seemed like everyone had a good time.

  1. Oh such a shame about the storage bags as they are very attractive and all the hard work going into them. People just don't realise all that hard work. Hope they made a profit altogether. Your drawing looks good.

    1. The afternoon made over £1000 and our takings went in with Gail's jewellery money. x
