Today has been a really good day. I slept quite well, which was a good start and the rain that was falling before I went out had cleared and the sky was bright by the time I set off for the craft group at the community centre. I had taken some sewing with me to do but Diane, who runs the class, was demonstrating decorations made with old music sheets so decided to make some instead.

They were fun to do, a bit fiddly to start with but fine once it had been demonstrated.  I did manage to pick up a music book in a second hand shop on my way home so that I can make some more.
The spacing has suddenly gone peculiar, not me trying to catch you out - honest. I had lunch and then set off to go to the painting group. Passing an ex chain store shop I saw some boot style trainers that looked really wide in the window. I have real problems getting shoes wide enough, especially now that I have bunions as well! I usually end up getting a 6's instead of 5's to get the extra width. Well, tried them on, they are 5's and eee fitting. Half price and comfortable, bargain! Last night I started a drawing of St Mary's church ready to paint it at the group today. Quite pleased with the result.
I did do the drawing in black pen Mike!
