Last night the final hedgehog arrived (well, for now anyway) and he is leading them away to new pastures!
This morning my new, great, little fridge freezer was delivered, it fit.s in well and will prove very useful. Two lovely guys didn't mind that they had to climb up two floors with it! Then I went off to the ceramics studio as I have some painting to do for Mike. First off a train money box. It took me nearly three hours, quite difficult keeping to the lines of the design. I have done writing on both ends, but will just post the side for now and seek permission to show the front and back. You will get the general idea anyway,
Hopefully when it is glazed and fired it will be very colourful. The rain clouds are rolling in again so the last picture, from the lounge window, is very different to the sunsets!
I managed to get some wire hangers from a dry cleaners so can make a couple more wreaths. At the moment I am knitting an owl for a change - same wool!
The hedgehog picture is very good. Very creative :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the train, and can't wait for it to be fired. By all means add any pictures here you want. Three hours painting must equate to several meals out next time I'm up there.
Even rain clouds look nice in Scarborough :-)
Glad you approve! May do the pen pot tomorrow. Tipping down outside now!
