Yesterday the lady at Fandangles gave me some paper flowers made by another crafter. They are very attractive.
I prized one of the petals out of one flower to unfold it and see how it is made. It starts with a square and is a bit complicated, but I am going to make a note of the order of folds as I think one or two of the ladies at button class would like to try making some.
This morning Darren and I went to B & Q, popped into BM's and then along to Deans where we had a snack and I bought a few plants for the garden. Darren was looking for wood suitable for extending his computer desk and after a bit of searching found an ideal piece. I got a few paint tester pots that are good colours for painting canvases to be decorated with buttons and beads. When we were heading out I took a picture of the beautiful oriental poppies which are just open, but with the wind are not likely to last long.
I did a couple of hours tidying up the front garden and getting the few plants I had bought watered in. It is looking like there is a slight chance of rain, which would be good if it arrives. A few weeks ago Tina bought some rocks and fossils at the auction house. This goniatite is an escapee and I am hoping it will be allowed to stay with me for a while, as I really like it!!

Pretty ancient as well as fabulous!
