I made sandwiches for the lunch group first thing this morning, I made cheese scones yesterday evening. It was a bright sunny morning and I decided to get on with some gardening. I cut back brambles, did some weeding, and moved the trees in pots up to the shed. Then I tidied up the small cupboard in the yard as it was getting very disorganised. Tina and I both thought this plant looked like a strawberry, but it is flowering now and is definitely not!
At lunch time I walked up to the studio as I was going to hold the fort while Sandy went to the dentist. I had customers today, took money and did my first hand prints with a child. Also showed somebody else round and she said she will come in with three children tomorrow. Darren called in and started painting a pen pot. we are both going in to do a bit of painting tomorrow, as Darren hasn't a lot of work this week. I had spotted a little cd rack in the charity shop next door to the studio and called in and decided to buy it as my cd cabinet is full to bursting! This is small and I can have my favourite cds in the lounge.
Walking back home I thought this building had a very attractive front garden area.

This plater has been in this position since I moved up here. The purpose of bringing it was to bring pink forget me nots to Scarborough. I transplanted them in the autumn and they have taken well. today I decided the planter needed to be moved up to the shed near the trees, it had become a bit of an eyesore!
It is now in it's new position and planted up with the sweet williams.

  1. Love the cd rack looks nice wood colour. I'm sure the sweet Williams will thrive in front of the shed. The studio will be busy with all the new children tomorrow, hope they behave for you. Xx
