I was down in the garden before 7 am as the willow tree had blown over in the night, obviously not too secure in it's new position by the shed. The wind is very strong again, I moved it to the very back of the garden and so far it has remained upright! I met Darren at the studio where we did some painting, Darren had started a pen pot yesterday. I did a coaster using an identification chart Anya has bought me when we went to Bempton on my birthday. I have a bee chart as well and may do another coaster tomorrow.
I went straight from there to button class, three ladies today. sue covered a couple of small wine bottles with garden string and they looked really good.
Norma finished off a butterfly picture she started last week. She does struggle to keep on track sometimes, I think this is one of the best pictures she has done.
Linda carried on with her seagull picture and painted the canvas to do a red heart for one of her friends. After club I went to Fandangles to take in the sign Sue had made. The lovely lady was very pleased with it and allowed me to take her picture holding it so that I can show Sue. Sue really wanted to do it and it was her idea but she did not want to take it in.
I was feeling quite tired this evening so Darren took me to Sainsbury's where we had a bite to eat and I did a little bit of shopping.

  1. The string bottles are most unusual, what will they do with them? The butterfly is very colourful, I expect the lady was pleased with her achievement.
