Yesterday evening I went to see Romeo and Juliet with Sandy at the Stephen Joseph theatre. I had been there once before to see a film, which is a different theatre space. The plays are performed in a theatre that is 'in the round', not too many rows and very well tiered so we had a good seat although we were at the back. The play was set in modern times with very little in the way of props, but was really good. It was produced by'Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory', worth looking up. I knew the general outline of the play but have never read it, so now that is on the 'to do' list! Tody has been wet, grey and quite cold again, although it has cleared and is looking brighter now. Darren and I went to the boot fair as planned but not many people had braved it so not a lot of stalls, but we did get some bargains and enjoyed a sausage sandwich for breakfast there. I got a lovely set of small trays, the smallest just about big enough for tea and biscuits for one. Lovely bird illustrations and very useful.
I also got a different word game which is small enough to take away when I go and see my sister. Haven't read the rules yet, but it looks as if it will be fun.
Apart from that, a lazy day. The three of us had dinner together, I have done a bit of sorting out and watched a couple of episodes of Monarch. May go out for a short walk now that it is dry.
Love the little trays, I have a couple but not a pretty as yours but use them everyday Mao,I know they were a good buy.
