A no photo day today although I may find one in the memories. I wanted some bin liners and other bits so decided to go to the local shops. Not far at all but it took me quite a time as the pavements are compacted ice with a sprinkling of snow in some places. I pt would have been nice to go and see Sher but I won’t be walking anywhere until the ice has gone. Not lovely to be anytime soon, it has rained a bit this evening and now it is freezing! I did message Sher and she wants the cabinets I have emptied so that is good.
This afternoon I have now got all the pictures down except one and have some of them packed. Everywhere is chaos and not looking too homely anymore but with four weeks to go it needs to be that way!
Tina is a little better today and has been able to drink and eat a bit, but still far from well. Hopefully she will be fully on the mend tomorrow.
Will see if I can find. Picture or two and will try and do better tomorrow.
I don’t blame you for not going too far at the moment. It was raining here earlier too, so that’ll freeze over by morning. Luckily I don’t need to walk anywhere tomorrow. At least you have more than enough to keep you occupied while you’re forced to stay at home. It’ll probably work out for the best and gives you an incentive to get on.
ReplyDeleteIt’s good the cabinets have a new home. The house is slowly emptying. I’m shocked it’s only four weeks to go! I knew it was, but it becomes a reality when you actually say it! You’ll laugh about all this another day…..maybe 😊
Glad to hear the Rev is feeling a bit better. I suppose they both need to get stuck in too to get all their stuff sorted!
I think you have more things to concentrate on at the minute, pics can wait. You’ll have loads of new things to photograph when you get there.
Take it easy this evening in readiness of another busy day tomorrow.
Don’t want to risk falls or accidents, that would be most inconvenient!
ReplyDeleteAs you say, plenty to be getting on with but occasionally it seems overwhelming. Not got quite so much get up and go these days.
I know I have done a lot but plenty more to do. It is looking quite unloved now, with no pictures or ornaments. Won’t be that long before I am unpacking it all and wondering where to put it all!
