Usual visits and cheeky new jumper

 I was up later this morning, feeling way too tired of late! Went across to see Bel who said she is struggling, but that is her usual comment these days. She had another fall, didn’t hurt herself but couldn’t get up. Whe managed to get across to the phone shuffling along on her bottom to get the neighbours to come round and assist. It probably shook her up a bit although no damage done. She had been knitting a jumper before Christmas, told me she had finished it. I asked if she wa pleased with it but she said no, and she would probably take it to the charity shop. So I said I needed warm jumpers for Christmas and she was delighted to give it to me. I put it on straight away and am still seeing it now!

I has home for a couple of hours before heading for Jeans, so got a couple of boxes packed and loaded the car up with Tina and despatched them to the charity shop. It was cold but a bright day and the sea was worth walking for. It was very lively today. Lots of pics now!






Had a good chat with Jean, who is still struggling with back pain but otherwise fairly cheerful. Terry gave me a lift home just as we were getting a flurry of snow. It has stopped now so not a lot left.
Another episode of traitors tonight, I think it will be really good again.

    Bel does do well for her age, but it must be hard to cope with the fact that a simple fall means you are stuck like that if you can’t get some help. I suppose it comes to us all in the end ☹️ So many people and things you are going to miss when you move. The sea will be a big thing you’ll miss. Every pic you take of it is different. Hopefully you’ll find something really good to replace it. Definitely a choppy day today, but still fascinating to watch.
    The jumper looks nice. Why on earth wasn’t she pleased with it? You’ll be glad of a nice hand knitted warm jumper up there 🥶
    I think Jean will miss your visits, and she’ll miss Tina too. But onward and upward as they say.

    No furry friend, I watched Traitors with Darren and Tina and she doesn’t sit on my lap downstairs, she is either on Tina’s lap or behind me on the sofa. But tonight she has curled up under the radiator on the landing, she isn’t daft!
    Bel didn’t like the high neck on the jumper, but I am not complaining as it is really warm.
    Jean is already saying how much she will miss us, and ia really disappointed that I won’t be here for my big birthday!
    The sea was spectacular today with the sun on it as well.
    Traitors was good and we are left in suspense again!
