Darren and I went out fairly early as there had been a boot sale advertised on Dean Road. But, although there were signs in the car park nothing was going on there! We walked round the block and had a cup of tea in a cafe on Castle Road. Lots of shops and cafes open today that are usually closed on Sunday because of the four day cricket match in town. I sorted my washing out and then took a slow walk up to the church where Tina was presiding at her first Eucharist at St Mary's. On the way I took a photo of the castle,
and the very blue line along the horizon!
The service was lovely, great to see Tina doing such a great job. Had tea and biscuits after and chatted to a few people. Took a picture across the church grounds.
On the way back I tried to get a picture of the whole bay, didn't quite manage it, but like the photo anyway!
There was a small tortoiseshell butterfly a way from the fence, it is actually the sea in the background, but it is not obvious.
Back home I have been lazy, but have tried to made one of the apostle figures. I haven't got the right tools or cocktail sticks, but it is sort of like the example!
