Highland Wildlife Park

We set off to Aviemore this morning to go to the wildlife park.A pretty journey and mist hanging in the hills. A lot of photos so I think I will let them do the talking.

We did go to se the polar bears fed, but the keeper called them to let them know there food had arrived but they were either not hungry or just now wanting to be seen! She gave an interesting talk though.
We did t get to see the camels either or the snow leopard but the arctic fox was adorable. We will be going again in the future.

  1. That’s a good selection of pics to show off your day. It looks a great place. A lot of different animals and some beautiful views thrown in too. A definite one to visit again.
It’s always very strange seeing the mist hanging like that. It’s way to flat and low around here to see anything as good. The more I see of Scotland the more I like the place. I would say I could retire up there, but I think it’s a bit late for that 😊
A great day for you. It’d be even better in the summer, but probably busier too.

  2. It was a very enjoyable day, the animals seemed well cared for and had huge enclosures, and could hide on the wanted to. Pretty journey too.
It is quite a way to go so I don’t think we will be regular visitors, but we definitely will go back some time.
