Into Perth and garden tidying

Tina gave me a lift into Perth this morning, she had a meeting and I wanted to make an eye test appointment and find out where I have to go for my Covid injection. I went to SpecSavers first and talked to a charming young man who made an appointment for me on the same day I go for the injection. He also told me where I needed to go and it is actually next to where I catch and get on the bus! I did go there and check it out. Then I walked down to the river, so finding my way around.

Took a couple of photos on the way back into the centre.

I passed this pub, loved its name.
Sat with Darren and Tina for a bit when I got home then went out and tidied the garden up. A lot of stuff got moved while the fencer was working
I bought some soft pastels today and this evening had a little play.
I also bought a knitting pattern and wool for a hot, hopefully this one I will be able to manage!

  1. I’m glad your trip into Perth went ok. I wasn’t sure if you’d be too achy and painful to make it. At least you’ve got your bookings all sorted and you even know exactly where you have to go. Very good forward planning ๐Ÿ˜Š You always manage to find the helpful young men in shops.
Nice blue skies for your pics today. The first one has a bit of everything in it. Nice sky and clouds a bridge, water and trees and the railing in front of you. I really like that. It does look a really nice place. I love the pub name too ๐Ÿ˜Š
You even found time, and energy for gardening. Another job out the way for now.
The butterfly is very nice. The pastels actually work well for it.
Are you starting the hat this evening, or is that a project for another day? Take it easy.

  2. Perth is a very nice city, I am slowly getting to know my way round, I don’t go in that often but if I find something different every time I will get there!
Don’t think I will start the hat tonight, maybe during the day with better light,
The young man in SpecSavers even asked if I would be okay going for my injunction afterwards if I’d had eye drops and had blurred vision!
    Very thoughtful.
I will try something else with the pastels.
