When I am sitting in the lounge now Pandora will occasionally sit on the other chair. If I go out she still disappears under the bed!
I went to the shop to get a jiffy bag as Anya had left something behind, I couldn’t send it until later anyways the counter doesn’t open until ten. I was getting the package ready when there was someone at the door, a lady from the congregation brought some tulips and just wanted to know if all was well.Wednesday, 11 February 2026
A quieter day

Beatrix Potter is exhibition
Pandora is obviously a bit more settled as she had settled on the chair a couple of times rather than under the bed! Another wet day so I decided to go to the art centre and get the form for changing the address on my driving license on the way back. I had a drink before looking round the exhibition as it opens a bit later than the cafe. They are having trouble with the lighting so let me walk around within out paying. It is only £4 anyway and I bought a few things in the shop after I had looked round. It is delightful, lots of interesting exhibits and details bout her life, but also several activity areas for children, dressing up, a shop and a school c’est with activities. I will just add the photos now.
I booked a place on a craft session before leaving.I called in at the post office and he said they didn’t have forms so to apply on line for the update driving license! One misty picture today.I decided to walk to Dunkeld and get a bottle I found refilled with washing up liquid, had a drink there.. as well. It was raining fairly hard on the way back and there were some mad people swimming in the river with outer clothing on!

The Birnam Oak
This morning we were up reasonably early and it wasn’t raining. We drove to Dunkeld before Anya set off for home so that I could get some shopping in for the rest of the week and she could go back to a couple of the shops we had been in on Saturday.
I didn’t stay dry for long, it was a bit drizzly again when I decided to go and find the Burnam Oak, which featured in a Shakespeare play. It was less than a mile but quite a twisty route. This sculpture was just by it.
This next photo has the sycamore in front and the oak behind, they are quite close.I went over a small bridge above a burn leading to the river.
Then up the rather scary steps to the bridge.
