Pottering with difficulty!

Apart from my knee being really painful, so somewhat restricted in what I can do, it has still been a nice day. I tried to pull a few weeds in the walled garden, but didn’t keep it up for long. Tina had done quite a bit of clearance one side which is great. I worry when the weeds got too big as I don’t want frogs hiding under them when they are damp! I sat on the garden swing for a bit and took another picture of the sunflowers from there. They are pretty spectacular this year.
A few garden pics.
I managed to walk as far as the coop, which isn’t very far at all, I won’t be walking to the sea front any time soon!
I have been having a play with the French knitting. Had forgotten how to start it off and it unravelled a bit until I tied a knot. Have looked on line so I start properly next time!
I had a bulk delivery of bird food supplies but waited for Darren to get home to get it moved to the bottom on the garden, then I got it all into containers and stored away in the dustbins. I am reading a creepy book, and did watch an episode of Annika on catch up so that I can watch the new episode later this evening.

  1. Glad to hear you’ve taken it reasonably easy, even if you were forced to do by the knee ☹️ The sea will still be there another day, hopefully. It’s been a while since you’ve seen it now.
The sunflowers really are great. But the other flowers look good too. I’m sure being close ups helps as I’m guessing the weeds are bountiful at the moment. It’ll soon get cleared up though.
I think the knitting is fantastic. If you’re going to have one have a big one is a good motto 😊 What’s it going to be?
Glad to hear you’ve been making use of the man of the house to do the carrying for you. I’m sure he doesn’t mind….too much.
I didn’t realise there was a new series of Annika on. What channel?
